About Us
We are a not for profit organisation which means we run entirely on donations and all of the donations go into the organisation. No-one within Flight Horizons receives payment for their work with the organisation.
There are currently two permanent committee members who are brother and sister, they are Shane and Zoe Touhey, we also have a group of volunteers who help out.
Our aim is to help people who live in care who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the fun and excitement of flying a light aircraft.
We were established in 2007 by a group of carers and pilot's who wanted to share their enjoyment of flying and so far have done so with many people who live in care.
